Dear cryo-EM community -

I'm forwarding this message below related to free computing and
computational services related to COVID-19 research.

Atrio is teaming up with Core Scientific and HPE to offer free computing
resources and free support to access and use these computing resources most
effectively. Atrio provides access and support, while Core Scientific & HPE
- the computational resources. Our hope is that by providing
computational resources and easy ways to access them along with
containerized toolsets specific for COVID-19 researchers, we would help
improve time-to-discovery of drugs and treatments against this
horrible virus. More specifically, we would like to offer our help and
expertise to the CryoEM community on how to accelerate protein structural
analysis and pathogen behavior simulations with faster processing times of
the output from CryoEM devices.

1. Atrio will assist researchers studying COVID-19 in creating and
optimizing performance of application containers (e.g. CryoEM processing
suite - Relion, CryoSPARC, CrYOLO, etc) , as well as performance-optimized
deployment of those application containers onto any of CryoEM community
computational platforms (on-premise or cloud) and specifically onto Core
Scientific and HPE computational resources.

2. We are offering, for free :
a) access to high-end DGX2 (64 V100 GPUs) systems with flash storage and
IB, with relevant security & privacy certifications, by Core Scientific
b) access to additional ~200 V100 GPUs for anonymized or synthetic data, by
Core Scientific and HPE
c) Powered by Atrio, a container and cluster management software platform
and support for: easy access and efficient use of any CryoEM community
computational resources, and the portal for easy-to-use a) and b) above;
d) vast computational resources from Atrio partners and an easy access to
them by Atrio : TACC, SDSC, PSC, Markley, and many others supercomputing
systems around the world.

If this interests you or your colleagues please do not hesitate to contact
us at max at atrio.io or jfc at atrio.io - we would love to help!
