The University of California, Santa Cruz is doing a cluster hire for 4 assistant professors under the broad umbrella of Biomedical Sciences. One area of particular interest is Structural Biology, with emphasis on cryo-electron microscopy. See https://recruit.ucsc.edu/JPF00756 <https://recruit.ucsc.edu/JPF00756> for details and to apply.

UC Santa Cruz has a vibrant structural biology community and is in the process of installing a Glacios cryo-TEM. We are also members of the BayArea Cryo-EM Consortium with UCSF, UC Berkeley, and UC Davis, and are within easy driving distance of the new NIH-funded Stanford-SLAC cryo-EM facility.

Please feel to contact me if you have any questions about the position or the facilities at UC Santa Cruz.

SIncerely,
Melissa
