[3dem] How to create Boundary Model in Etomo?

Dear Etomo users and developers:

I am trying to use patch tracking to make fiducial model when processing a
tilt series of cryo-grid that was prepared for single particle data
collection. Since the hole with ice has weak signal and the grid does not
have gold beads, I tried to create a boundary model for patch tracking.
What I did was to click "Create Boundary Model", and then in Zap window use
"lasso tool" to draw a contour that included the area of carbon that I
would like to use for patch tracking. Then I saved the model in "3dmod"
under the "File" menu. Finally I click "Track Patches" in the Etomo and got
an error message saying:

Com script failed scorer_pt.com

Log file errors:
ERROR: TILTXCORR - No qualifying boundary contours found in model
ERROR: tiltxcorr - Standardinput: exited with status 1

Standard error output:
Python PID: 82673

Can someone point out what I did wrong? Any suggestions would be
appreciated!
