I would like to bring to your attention several open faculty positions at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. The Department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics seeks to recruit experts in cryo-ET and single particle analysis at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels.


The department and the associated Molecular Electron Microscopy Center provide access to an excellent infrastructure, including a Titan Krios equipped with Falcon-3 and Gatan K3 detectors, a newly commissioned Glacios with K3 detector, as well as several other screening microscopes.



UVA has a particular strength in membrane biology and cell physiology and fosters collaborative and interdisciplinary biomedical research. A link to the official position announcement can be found below. Review of applications will commence October 1st.
