[3dem] Two postdoc positions at LBNL

Dear All,

Two NIH supported postdoctoral positions are open in the laboratory of Dr.
Ren at Molecular Foundry, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL).  The
research project will be focused on understanding the structural dynamics of
cardiovascular disease (CVD) related proteins, such as cholesteryl ester
transfer proteins (CETP) and lipoproteins via a combinational  techniques,
including tranditional biochemistry, in-house developed single-molecule 3D
imaging technique (individual-particle electron tomography, IPET) and
conventional molecular dynamics to discover the protein mechanism for
further inhibition design in regulating of cholesterol transfer. 

 

Candidates must have Ph.D. degree graduated recently one year with
self-motivation, and strong practical experiences in one or more of related
fields (biochemistry, structural biology, molecular dynamics simulation,
computer science, physics and electron microscopy).
