We are looking for a postdoctoral research associate for "Characterizing Structure and Dynamics of Soft Matter with multimodal Electron Microscopy". Objects of interest include engineered proteins, megamolecules, protein complexes, Metal-Organic and Covalent Frameworks (MOFs/COFs) and soft-hard interfaces. The candidate will be a member of the group of Professor Vinayak Dravid in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering and participate in a cross-disciplinary and collaborative project across Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, and Cell & Molecular Biology experts at Northwestern and the University of Chicago.
We are looking for applicants with hands-on experience in cryo-EM of proteins and in data-processing for the reconstruction of molecular structure.
