A postdoctoral research position is available in the Department of Chemical Physiology and Biochemistry at the Oregon Health and Science University, Portland Oregon to study ATP-sensitive potassium (KATP) channels using single-particle cryo-electron microscopy, biochemical, and electrophysiological techniques.



Highly motivated individuals with research accomplishments in membrane protein biochemistry and structural biology are encouraged to apply. Technical expertise in membrane protein expression and purification, single-particle cryoEM, cryotomography, X-ray crystallography and patch-clamp recording are preferred.
