Dear EM-community,

We are thrilled to announce the release of the first version of HELIXPLORER.

HELIXPLORER is a web tool to help with the process of indexing helical
structures (finding the symmetry parameters required to solve their 3D
structures).

If you are interested in helices, whether that be because you would like
to solve a structure or simply to better understand the beautiful theory
behind helical symmetry and fiber diffraction, this tool is for you!

Use it to open a power-spectrum of some class average image and
HELIXPLORER can help with the search for the helical symmetry parameters
that best fit your power-spectrum.
