Hi all,

Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Yong Xiong in the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University. The Xiong lab primarily studies host immune responses to viral infections and cellular DNA repair pathways using a variety of techniques including X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, biochemistry and computational biology. For more information please visit: http://xiong.yale.edu<http://xiong.yale.edu/>

The Xiong lab is part of the Center for Structural Biology at Yale, which has a long tradition of research excellence and a stimulating environment from world-renowned groups and exciting young investigators. Yale has state-of-art cryo-EM facilities housing Titan Krios (with phase plate, energy filter, K2 and Falcon III detectors), F20 with K2, Talos L120C and T12 microscopes. In addition, a major new cryo-EM facility with multiple Krios microscopes is being established.

The position will be fully funded by Yale University in accordance with NIH guidelines. The candidate should have expertise in cryo-EM and should be highly motivated for career development in structural biology.
