[3dem] Postdoc Position utilizing single particle cryo-em

One postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Ning Wu<http://wulab.vai.org/> at Van Andel Research Institute<http://www.vai.org/> in Grand Rapids, MI.



The Wu Laboratory studies glucose and lipid metabolism in diabetes and cancer using many different techniques ranging from basic biochemistry to mouse models. This position will primarily focus on membrane protein expression and purification, single particle cryo-EM, and biophysical/biochemical assays to improve our understanding of how cells/organisms regulate glucose and lipid transport.



VARI has state of the art electron microscopes (Titan Krios, Talos, and Arctica) and detectors (K3, Falcon3).<https://cryoemcore.vai.org/>
