Dear Scientist

Biannually, the German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM) brings together leading structural biologists, junior researchers and industry exhibitors at the Murnau conference. Scientists from all over Europe present groundbreaking new discoveries and discuss the latest technical developments.

The small size with maximally 200 participants and the familiar atmosphere in the centre of the Bavarian Heartland make this meeting a highlight in the national and international conference calendar. Especially for the young generation of scientists the Murnau conference is ideal to bring their work to the attendance of the community and to get in contact with scientific leaders in the field.

This year’s Murnau conference will take place on September 14-17, 2016. We are very glad to present an excellent lineup of international speakers:

  * Richard Henderson, LMB Cambridge (The Murnau Lecture 2016)
  *   Teresa Carlomagno, EMBL Heidelberg
  *   Emmanuelle Charpentier, MPI Berlin
  *   Tim Clausen, IMP Wien
  * Kay Grünewald, University of Oxford
  * Steve Harrison, Harvard Medical School
  *   Caroline Kisker, Virchow-Zentrum Würzburg
  *   Adam Lange, FMP Berlin
  *   Timm Maier, Biozentrum Basel
  *   Kioshi Nagai, LMB Cambridge
  *   Ilme Schlichting, MPI Heidelberg
  *   Ben Schuler, Universität Zurich
  *   Shu-ou Shan, Caltech

Another 13 speakers will be selected from submitted abstracts and around 40 posters will be shown. Safe the date! Registration will open on February 15th, 2016. Deadline for abstract submission is the 31st of July, 2016.

Please find all details on the conference webpage http://www.murnauconference.de<http://www.murnauconference.de/>. We would be very glad to see you in Murnau in September. Please forward this email to any interest scientist. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
