Hi David,

If the microscope is double-O-ring type ( I think it should ) and equipped with anti-contaminator device, any Gatan cryo-holder should work.
We have two 622s, one 914 (tomography), and one CT-3500. According to Gatan, CT-3500 is slightly better in stability, but for screening it doesn’t matter.

We are thinking of buying a cryo-holder so we can use the 1400 to screen cryo-TEM specimens. Does anyone have any experience using the 1400 for cryo-TEM? Your thoughts would be appreciated.
