Dear colleagues,

An exciting post-doctoral research position is available in the Lamzin
Group at the EMBL-Hamburg Unit, which develops new computational methods
for data interpretation and model building in macromolecular X-ray
crystallography. The successful applicant will be involved in
international collaborative projects. She/He will work on the design and
the development of novel software techniques for data interpretation
towards obtaining refined and validated models. One direction will be
the development of the ARP/wARP software (www.arp-warp.org), in
particular its extension to building macromolecular models using
high-resolution electron microscopy data, and the integration into
virtual research environments. The other direction will be the
development of methods for the interpretation of diffraction data
obtained from biological microcrystals and single particles using X-ray
synchrotrons and free-electron lasers.

Best regards
Philipp
