[3dem] postdoctoral position

[Montserrat Samso/FS/VCU]

A postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Samso lab at the Dept. of Physiology and Biophysics of VCU, Richmond VA, to carry out structural analysis of membrane proteins using cryoEM and 3D reconstruction. The laboratory is fully equipped for all aspects of protein purification, cryoEM and computing.

The candidate should have a PhD degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Structural Biology or a related field, and have extensive hands-on experience in membrane protein purification, mammalian cell culture, cryo-electron microscopy, image processing and/or model building.
