Dear colleagues,

just a reminder for Subtomogram Averaging aficionados.

We still have a few free spots for the Dynamo Workshop 2014 in Basel, from the 19th to the 22th of August.

This workshop presents a detailed insight into technical (but not at all boring) aspects of Subtomogram Averaging under a mainly practical approach. Along with a small number of introductory lectures and case study presentations, most time will be spent on hands-on-keyboard training on the use of the Dynamo software package for different tasks as averaging, refinement, classification, particle picking and efficient management of tomographic data sets.

Bringing your own data to analyse it during the Workshop is welcome and very encouraged. Intensive computations will be performed using the infrastructure of the Swiss Supercomputing Center (and, as traditionally, the best participant presentation will be awarded a NVIDIA sponsored Titan card).

For more information, visit www.dynamo-em.org/workshop<http://www.dynamo-em.org/workshop> or just drop me an email.

cheers,
Daniel Castaño-Díez
