[3dem] 2013 Dynamo Workshop on Subtomogram Averaging: registration open

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the registration for the 2013 
Dynamo Workshop on Sub-Tomogram Averaging is now open.

This year, the Workshop will take place from the 20th to the 23th of 
August in C-CINA (Basel, Switzerland) and will be focused on 
computational hands-on training on Sub-Tomogram Averaging using Dynamo 
an other packages. The presented topics will cover all tasks required to 
complete a structure determination project from raw tomograms to 
averaged structures: geometrical modelling, particle picking and 
alignment, structure refinement and classification.

Participants will have access to supercomputing facilities of the Swiss 
National Supercomputing Center such as multi-GPU stations and parallel 
CPU clusters, and are encouraged to bring along their data sets and 
present their work (this encouragement is not only nominal: the best 
participant presentation will be awarded  an NVIDIA sponsored graphics 
card for GPU computation).

A list of external speakers will be announced soon. Deadline for
