A postdoc position is available in the Kollman lab at McGill University
studying the structural basis of prokaryotic cellular organization,
including structures of bacterial cytoskeletal elements and organelles.
 Our structural approach includes single particle cryo-EM, cryo-electron
tomography, and x-ray crystallography.  For information on ongoing projects

We are affiliated with the Facility for Electron Microscopy Research at
McGill, a state of the art facility fully equipped for cryo-EM.  Our
microscopes include a Titan Krios (300kV) equipped with a GIF, a Tecnai F20
(200kV), Tecnai Spirit (120kV), and a Tecnai 12 (120kV). For a detailed

Candidates should hold a PhD in biophysics, biochemistry or a related
field.  Candidates with experience in cryo-EM or x-ray crystallography are
preferred, but outstanding candidates coming from other disciplines will
also be considered.
