Dear Kimberly,
You shouldn't have any chance of cross contamination if you clean your
forceps between samples and remember to use fresh filter paper.  Nothing
else should touch your grids.

The sample won't contaminate the freezing cup unless you drop a grid after
plunging and let it thaw there.  If you do, just clean the cup with ethanol
after it warms up.
