_*Postdoctoral Position in single-particle cryo-EM and/or 2D
crystallography at Yale University *_

Professors James Rothman (Cell Biology) and Charles Sindelar (Molecular
Biophysics & Biochemistry) are jointly inviting distinguished US and
international candidates with experience in single-particle cryo-EM
and/or 2D crystallography to apply for a postdoctoral fellow position to
study the organization of arrays of SNARE proteins on lipid bilayers,
joining a world-class research environment known both for studies of
membrane fusion mechanisms and structural biology.

The ideal candidate should also have experience in protein purification
and membrane reconstitution, but this is not necessary.

This could be either a first or second postdoc, and is intended for a
talented and independent young scientist en route to a faculty position
at a major research institution as a career goal.

Salary will be at the NIH level as determined by the number of years
post-PhD.

The start date is flexible but should be in 2012 if possible.

Yale provides a resource-rich environment with multiple scopes in and
beyond the group.

Yale is an equal opportunity employer.

To apply, e-mail your application including your CV and the names of at
least two references to Patricia.Sullivan at yale.edu.
