[3dem] Tool for segmentation of membranes in tomograms

Dear colleagues,

    we have developed a software package to assist users in segmenting membranes present in tomograms. The method is based on a Gaussian model for the membrane profile and local differential structure. Programs to convert the segmentation results into well-known tools like Amira and IMOD are also provided. Anyone interested can download the package through the following site:
