We are seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Research Assistant to undertake structural analysis of the centriole as well as cilia organization and dynamics in the research group led by Drs Anne Marie Tassin and Sergio Marco (http://u759.curie.fr/en/groups/structural-bases-cellular-processes/structural-bases-cellular-processes-00308).

Electron and cryo-electron tomography will be used for the study of Drosophila melanogaster embryo centrioles and for the analysis of intraflagellar transport in the Trypanosoma brucei flagellum.

The project is funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and it will be performed in collaboration with the groups led by Dr. Renata Basto at the Institut Curie in Paris (http://umr144.curie.fr/en/research-groups/biology-centrosomes-and-cilia-renata-basto/biology-centrosomes-and-cilia-00180) and Dr. Philippe Bastin at the Institut Pasteur in Paris (http://www.pasteur.fr/recherche/RAR/RAR2010/Bct-en.html).

Applicants should have a PhD (or a post-doctoral) in Structural Biology and have relevant research publications. Experience in at least cryo-electron microscopy or tomography is required.

Gross Salary: 3229 EUR per month (depending on experience)
