[3dem] GATAN freezing machine

Dear Koji and list,

We happen to have both. But the Vitrobot we have is not the latest
version, Cryoplunge 3 is a beta testing version. We are actually one of
the beta testing sites for Cp3 who give feedback to Gatan for improving
purpose.

Based on my personal experience, here are things I can say about them.

1. They both give reliable blotting and freezing.

2. Neither one does single side blotting (nicely, if possible).

3. For the easiness of unloading forceps and transferring grids to
storage box after plunging, Cp3 is significantly easier to use.

Regards,
