A postdoctoral position is available in the NIH/NCRR-supported Resource for
Visualization of Biological Complexity at the Wadsworth Center, New York
State Department of Health, Albany, New York USA. The research area is in
the application and development of time-resolved cryo-electron microscopy
of macromolecular assemblies. Applicants should have a strong interest in
one or more of the following disciplines: cryo-electron microscopy,
single-particle image analysis, structural dynamics a of bio-macromolecular
assemblies. The position involves some development of time-resolved
methodology, and, ideally, the candidate would apply this technology to one
of several in-house projects (ribosomes, molecular motors, ion channels) or
to a project for which the candidate already has experience. Candidates
should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biochemistry, biophysics or a
