We are pleased to announce the 3rd semi-annual NCMI workshop on single particle
reconstruction, visualization and model interpretation. This 4-day
workshop will cover:

- General image processing background
- Single particle reconstruction using EMAN (Steve Ludtke)
- Visualization using UCSF Chimera (Tom Ferrin and Tom Goddard)
- Direct structure analysis using AIRS (Matt Baker)
- Homology modeling using Modeller (Andrej Sali and Maya Topf)

Registration is free, and most meals will be provided. Participants are
responsible for their own travel and lodging, though a discounted rate at a
local hotel has been arranged.

The workshop will take place at the Texas Learning and Computation Center
(TLC^2) at the University of Houston. Participants will be provided with
individual PC's for the practical sessions. Due to the limited number of PC's
available (48), registration will be limited. Please do not make travel
arrangements prior to confirmation of acceptance in late January.
