[3DEM] Hi

Hi all,
  I'm a new member to this mailing list group.

I'm doing research in photonic crystals group.
I've few doubts about TEM.

1) Can you take an image of the top view of a silicon substrate through TEM?
(few people here say that its only for cross-section),

2) What is TEM Grid?

I request all of you to answer these questions so that I can get some
knowledge about TEM.
