Hi,

The Aebi and Pollard glow discharger is a simple and reliable device.
We used it in air and also with other gases by placing an hour glass
filled with 10 microliters of for example pentylamine underneath the
grid-holding table. To avoid having to clean the device from the amine
each time, it is comfortable to have two devices: one for normal air
glow discharge, and one for use with other gases.

For more information about the glow discharger I suggest to directly
contact Ueli Aebi at
mailto:Ueli.Aebi at unibas.ch

Henning.
