SPECIAL ISSUE OF JSB ON TIME-RESOLVED 3D IMAGING

>A Special Issue of the Journal of Structural Biology, co-edited by myself 
>and Ilme Schlichting (Max-Planck Institute for Medical Research, 
>Heidelberg), will focus on experimental results obtained by time-resolved 
>imaging of molecular processes by X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron 
>microscopy.  Since some of these techniques are still developing, we 
>especially look for papers that combine advances in methodology with 
>biological results.  We believe that, as other Special Issues of JSB, this 
>issue could become a valuable resource, and provide additional motivation 
>for cross-fertilization between X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM.

>At this stage we are issuing a general invitation for contributions of 
>original articles featuring research in this area. The deadline for 
>receipt of all manuscripts is set for December 15, 2003, for the issue to
