Messages to Max-Planck 3DEM members blocked

Members of 3DEM Email List:

This is to inform everyone that 3DEM messages to the Max-Planck
Institute (*.mpg.de and *.desy.de) are now being blocked, thanks
to the recent email spam advertisement which was sent using 3DEM's
spoofed email address.

I have informed the Institute that filtering spam based on
spoofed email messages is unfriendly at best, since most spam
these days is sent using someone's (not the spammer's!) legitimate
email address as the return address.

But unfortunately I cannot do anything about this beyond my complaint.
If you would like to voice your opinion as well:
