Imacon film scanner

[Clair Baldock]

Does anyone know anything about the suitability of the Imacon 
FlexTight Precision II Scanner for scanning EM negatives for image 
analysis purposes? Is it comparable to the Nikon coolscan 8000?

Any advice would be very helpful
