3 YEAR POST-DOCTORAL POSITION AT IMPERIAL COLLEGE, LONDON TO GROW 2D
CRYSTALS OF HIS-TAGGED MEMBRANE PROTEINS.
A 3 year post-doctoral position is available at Imperial College for the 2D
crystallisation of a range of important His-tagged membrane proteins.  Both
standard 2D crystallisation and monolayer systems doped with Ni-lipids will
be employed for this purpose.
We are seeking an applicant with experience in either lipid chemistry,
protein biochemistry or 2D crystallisation.  The position will provide the
successful applicant with training in membrane protein biochemistry, 2D
crystallisation, cryo-EM and image processing.  Facilities at Imperial
College include Philips CM100, liq. N2 cooled CM200 FEG and  liq. He cooled
CM300 FEG microscopes as well as excellent image processing systems.
The Imperial College site is in Central London, close to Hyde Park, within
reach of many excellent amenities.
