Dear Colleagues:

A little over a year ago I took over the Chair of Cell Biology at
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. The goal I
have set for the department is to develop a first class group of faculty
who are experts in different but complimentary imaging methods. We
currently have five positions to fill and would like to use one or two
of the slots to hire a cryoEM specialist. We have a commitment from the
Dean to purchase the equipment necessary to set up a first rate facility
for the successful candidate(s).

We have an outstanding group of cell biologists in the Department who
interact exceptionally well. Our Biochemistry Department also has a
world class group of crystallographers. So this is a great opportunity
for an interactive cryoEM person who is interested in the structure and
function of particulate or filamentous macromolecular structures.
