[3dem] MERLION 2026 – Volume Electron Microscopy Workshop

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the upcoming MERLION 2026 Volume Electron Microscopy Workshop, jointly organised by the Ultrastructural BioImaging Unit (Institut Pasteur, France) and the Electron Microscopy Unit (NUS School of Medicine, Singapore), taking place on November 23–26, 2026 in Singapore.
This workshop will bring together expertise from both institutions to showcase recent advances and applications in volume electron microscopy (EM), with a particular focus on practical approaches and workflows.

The workshop will feature talks from invited speakers from Singapore and France, as well as practical demonstrations covering sample preparation, ultramicrotomy for array tomography, EM imaging and data analysis, with access to state-of-the-art equipment from industry partners.

The workshop will be held at NUS School of Medicine.
