[3dem] Gatan model 626 specimen cryo holder

Hi Yael,

I t has been a few years, but you could try Tom Schmelzer (tom at tgstechnologies.net) and see if he is still repairing these units.  I have personally used him multiple times for tip replacements and other side entry holder repairs.  I’ve found him to be very reliable and more affordable than the manufacturer.

I have no relationship with the above mentioned individual, just a satisfied customer.

Hi Yael,

We have broken the bin on the Model 626 cryo-specimen holder multiple times. Send it back to Gatan and they will fix it for you, but the cost is pretty high.
