Hi Christiane,
There was a discussion about this a while back in 3dem. You can try to look it up under the title "Dry nitrogen generator that supports Aquilos cryo FIB"
In short, we supply our Aquilos2 with gas outlet from a Taylor-Wharton 250L tank (with a high pressure regulator 6 bar). With this setup we are able to use the FIB continuously for days without clogging. One important issue to consider is that, the cold N2 gas from the dewar needs to be warmed up to prevent extensive condensation on the line.
Best,

Dear all,
We are currently planning the installation of a TFS Aquilos2. As we are not sure to be able to access dry nitrogen from a large outside storage dewar, do some of you have experience in supplying the needed dry nitrogen with a large pressurised LN2 dewar (240l) or using bottles? Or any other suggestions? 😊
Thanks a lot for your input and help!
Best
Christiane
