Dear colleagues,
We're excited to announce that the Division of Structural Studies at the
MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology is looking for a new tenure track
group leader.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding scientist with innovative ideas
to address long-term fundamental biological questions through the study
of macromolecular structure at the molecular and/or cellular scales.
Areas of interest include biology-focused research and/or methods
development, using experimental and/or computational approaches, on
topics that complement and synergise with existing strengths in the
Division.
The LMB offers an outstanding scientific environment and has a
long-standing tradition of methods development and innovation, paired
with biological discovery. Groups at the LMB receive core funding for 2
postdocs and 2 PhD students, (free) access to facilities, and all
associated research expenses.
Applications, including a cover letter, CV and a 3-page research
proposal are to be made by 16th March 2026 through the MRC portal
