[3dem] PNCC Screening Access Mechanism - July call for applicants

Are you from an IDeA state or low resource institution? Do you want to utilize Cryo-EM in your research but need assistance in optimizing your sample?

If so, the Pacific Northwest CryoEM Center offers a mechanism to help laboratories with limited or no cryo-EM resources, enter the field of cryo-EM. PNCC's "Screening Access Mechanism" provides users with on-site access to state-of-the-art cryo-EM resources and expertise to carry out sample preparation and optimization under close supervision of trained cryo-EM specialists.

The goal is to help users identify optimal cryo-grid conditions and successfully transition to data collection through PNCC’s General Access mechanism, or to establish technical feasibility and provide guidance on the project’s next steps. This new mechanism is intended to support investigators who lack access to local cryo-EM resources and to help jump-start those interested in entering the field of cryo-EM.
