SmartScope version 0.10 is here!

For teams running SmartScope’s automated cryo-EM specimen screening and
data collection, the latest release brings a solid set of workflow
improvements aimed at speed and precision.

*What’s new: *

·      *Revamped Interface*- searchable session browser, improved
statistics tracking and much more

·      *Grid Reloading*- reload a grid and collect on the same squares
after screening

·      *Asynchronous Square Processing *– a speed enhancement for square
preparation during data collection

·      *Smarter Hole Finding*- improved hole finder even in thick ice and
on low-contrast squares

·      *Improved Detection Time*- SmartScope now runs detection models more
quickly with an optional GPU support

·      *New Protocol Files* —greater flexibility to customize your
workflows
