We are looking to recruit an expert structural biologist to join the EMDB and the EMBL-EBI OneDep biocuration team at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI, Cambridge, UK). As a data curator at EMBL-EBI, you will curate prepublication 3DEM and model data to prepare it for release to peer reviewers and then later to the public database. 

Your expert domain knowledge, particularly in cryoEM/ET, will have an immediate positive impact. These positions are highly unique opportunities to work directly with depositing scientists, the deposition system they use, and our software developers to facilitate data coming to the structural biology archives. You will help develop our systems and processes, working closely with other data curators and software developers to make it possible to archive the world's experimental structural biology data. This is an international effort, so you will also interact with the wwPDB consortium and its partners (EMDB, PDBe, RCSB, PDBj, PDBc, BMRB) to make biological macromolecular data openly available.
