[3dem] Engineer position for cryo FIB-SEM and cryo-CLEM at Leibniz FMP, Berlin

Dear Colleagues,
The Leibniz FMP in Berlin, Germany, searches for an engineer to operate cryo FIB-SEM and cryo-CLEM equipment. These include a TFS Aquilos 2 and a Leica cryo confocal microscope, which are embedded in the Charité CFcryoEM and located at the Campus Buch in Berlin. The position is to be filled as soon as possible. Applicants should hold a university degree (BSc, MSc or equivalent in Biology, Biochemistry, (Bio)Physics or equivalent and have several years of experience in cell biological work (light microscopy, cell culture) and experience in electron microscopy and/or plunge freezing or high-pressure freezing. The job includes operating and service of the cryo-LM and cryo-FIB-SEM, training and supervision of users of these instruments, support of users in sample preparation and data processing, and establishing/implementation of new work protocols for cryo-CLEM and cryo FIB milling.
