Dear colleagues,

A quick reminder that there are only 6 days left to apply for an in-person place on the Wellcome–MRC in situ Cryo-ET Workshop 2026.

To expand capacity this year, the course will be delivered across two in-person locations—Diamond Light Source (Oxford) and the Astbury Centre (Leeds)—with lectures also broadcast online via Zoom.

Course dates: 28 September – 02 October 2026

In-person application deadline: 19 July 2026

Registration deadline for online lectures: 25 September 2026

This course, part of the Wellcome/MRC cryo-EM training programme, is designed for students and postdoctoral researchers interested in applying cryo-ET and cryo-FIB in their research. It will feature lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practicals covering sample preparation, FIB milling, lamella preparation, data collection, processing, and more.
