[3dem] POSTDOC OPPORTUNITIES IN THE UK: The Tobiasson lab is hiring

Dear colleagues,

The Tobiasson lab is looking for structural and computational biologists to join the School of Infection and Immunity at the University of Glasgow! We will use CryoEM and phylogenetics to investigate ribosome evolution!

We are currently hiring a structural biologist, a bioinformatician, and a technician (no PhD required!) for up to five years, fully funded by a Wellcome Trust Career Development Award.

The work will be carried out at the Centre for Parasitology, an excellent environment for cell culture, protein purification, and structural studies of a diverse set of evolutionarily divergent species including multiple human pathogens. The Tobiasson lab is a developing wet/dry hybrid environment focused on understanding the evolutionary drivers of complexity generation and loss in organellar and parasitic protein complexes.
