The Schur Lab at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) has a fully funded postdoctoral position available to work on a project on Huntingtin (HTT) and its role as an actin-binding protein.

Specifically, the project investigates the structural and cellular roles of HTT as a novel actin-binding protein under physiological conditions and in neurodegenerative disease. The work will integrate cellular microscopy (cryo-electron tomography and fluorescence microscopy), and single-molecule imaging with functional cell biology experiments.

If you enjoy working at the interface of cell biology, structural biology, and quantitative imaging, this could be an excellent fit.
