With IOCB Prague continuing to advance its cutting-edge research 
infrastructure, our cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) core 
facility is looking for a new colleague to join our team.

We are seeking a *3D Electron Diffraction Specialist* with experience in 
diffraction experiments and electron microscopy to help establish, 
develop, and run the 3D electron diffraction (ED) methodology at IOCB 
Prague. Working in close collaboration with the Tomáš Kouba Group and 
Dr. Lukáš Palatinus from the Institute of Physics, the position sits at 
the interface between methodology development and scientific service, 
focusing on the structural characterization and absolute configuration 
determination of small molecules such as synthetic and natural products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for local 3D ED 
workflows—including sample preparation, screening, data collection, and 
data analysis—while collaborating with research groups across the 
institute and leveraging established computing infrastructure.
