Dear 3DEM community,
The Department of Molecular Biosciences at The University of Texas at Austin has an open tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the areas of cancer biology, immunology, and cancer therapeutics. We are particularly interested in candidates who utilize innovative computational approaches, data analytics, or artificial intelligence approaches to inform our understanding of cancer. Research areas of interest include structural biology, cell biology, cancer immunology, cell signaling, and biochemistry. UT Austin has many excellent facilities, including the Sauer Structural Biology Lab. This core houses a Titan Krios equipped with a K3 detector and a Glacios equipped with a Falcon 4 detector.
The Department of Molecular Biosciences is a diverse, collaborative, friendly community of scientists researching topics ranging from systems to molecules. UT Austin is the flagship university of the University of Texas. It is home to ~40,000 undergraduates and ~12,000 graduate students. Austin is a vibrant city with great social, music, and outdoor scenes.
