Simple origin comes with Pfeiffer turbo pump and a custom manifold to pump
the holder. It is very modular and individual components are readily
available from Pfeiffer. All the main components of the gatan turbo pump
are also from Pfeiffer but one relies on gatan for maintenance in case of
their turbo pump failure. The turbo pump from Pfeiffer with simple origin
manifold can be much easier and affordable to maintain compared to Gatan
turbo pump.
