We are excited to advertise a new post-doctoral research associate position in our group based at the Randall Centre, King’s College London (Guys Campus), UK.

Actin filaments are dynamically organised by actin-binding proteins into a variety of 3D architectures that have critical functional roles in eukaryotic cellar subregions. This role will decipher how a set of actin-binding proteins organises/remodels the cytoskeleton, including during cancer and viral pathogenic processes.

The project methodologies are primarily single-particle cryo-EM and cellular cryo-ET (assisted by FIB-SEM).

At KCL we have access to;

A Titan Krios + K3
A cryoARM200 + K3
FIB-SEM equipment
Cryo-CLEM equipment
Leica GP2 and high-pressure freezer
High-performance computing clusters
