Hi everyone,

We are excited to advertise a new post-doctoral research associate position in our group based at the Randall Centre, King’s College London, UK.

An increasing number of viruses are emerging that encode cytoskeleton-binding or modulatory proteins- this project aims to determine how viruses manipulate host cell cytoskeletons to enhance their replicative capabilities. The project methodology is primarily cryo-ET of cells (assisted by FIB-SEM) and purified preparations, alongside single-particle cryo-EM.

At KCL we have access to;

A Titan Krios + K3
A cryoARM200 + K3
FIB-SEM equipment
Cryo-CLEM equipment
Leica GP2 and high-pressure freezer
