[3dem] Help improving distribution of filamentous protein complex on cryoEM grids

Dear all,
We want to solve at high resolution the structure of filamentous protein complex that must remain in high salt concentration (now 1M NaCl buffer). However, the protein tends to adhere to the carbon film and is excluded from the holes when using Quantifoil R1.2/1.3 Cu 200 mesh with negative glow discharge.
I would appreciate suggestions regarding grid type, pretreatment or other advice on how to improve its distribution.
