New advancements in software are radically changing image acquisition in electron microscopy. SenseAI, is a software-based solution created by Professor Nigel Browning (University of Liverpool) that's designed to reduce the amount of data needed to generate micrographs by up to 99%. SenseAI delivers a streamlined workflow comprised of sparse sampling, on-the-fly learning library generation, and live inpainting to generate images that match the ground truth with stunning accuracy. SenseAI can be applied to scanning-based techniques for biology including cryo SEM, 4D-STEM, 2D-STEM and ptychography.

Webinar Tomorrow (June 5th)
Dr. Browning will be delivering a presentation tomorrow on SenseAI's approach to data collection. There will be some amazing new data presented that shows this process working on a Cryo Slice and View style datasets which should be interesting for any lab that's utilizing a FIB-SEM for data collection. The presentation will also cover new research from other biological applications and materials science approaches as well.
