Dear colleagues,

We are excited to invite talented and highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join the Liang Laboratory at Emory University School of Medicine.

Our laboratory is dedicated to elucidating the high-resolution structural basis and deciphering the molecular mechanisms of key macromolecular machinery through an integrated approach that includes biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET), and macromolecular X-ray crystallography. We seek exceptional postdoctoral candidates to contribute to two primary research areas: (1) investigating protein and ribonucleoprotein complexes pivotal in the replication of RNA viruses or (2) delving into filamentous assemblies associated with neurodegenerative disorders.

We are actively seeking candidates with a Ph.D. in a biology-related field who are enthusiastic about engaging in challenging, collaborative research. Preferred candidates will possess expertise in one or more of the following areas: cryo-EM, cryo-ET, X-ray crystallography, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, virology, or neurobiology.
